Licensing Agreement

This Licensing Agreement (“Agreement”) applies to all digital software products, including WordPress plugins and other code-based products (“Products”), purchased from Plugin Nexus (“we”, “us”, “our”), operating in the United Kingdom.

By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using any Product from pluginnexus.com, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree, you must not use our Products.

1. Definitions

  • Product: Any digital software or plugin sold or distributed by Plugin Nexus.
  • Licence: The permission granted to install and use the Product on one or more websites.
  • Website/Site: A single domain installation of WordPress, including its subdirectories.
  • Customer/You: The individual or entity purchasing or using the Product.

2. Types of Licences

Plugin Nexus offers the following standard licence types. Your licence type is determined by the specific option purchased at checkout.

2.1 Single-Site Licence

  • Allows installation and activation of the Product on one (1) WordPress website only.
  • Includes updates and support for the duration of the licence term specified at purchase.

2.2 Three-Site Licence

  • Allows installation and activation on up to three (3) WordPress websites owned or controlled by the Customer.
  • Includes updates and support for the duration of the licence term.

2.3 Unlimited-Site Licence

  • Allows installation and activation on an unlimited number of websites owned or controlled by the Customer.
  • This does not permit resale, redistribution, or installation on client-owned websites unless
    • you maintain full ownership/control of the websites, or
    • you have purchased an applicable developer or agency licence that expressly includes client use.
  • Includes updates and support for the licence term.

3. Licence Restrictions

Unless explicitly permitted by this Agreement or the licence purchased, you may not:

  • Share, sell, transfer, or redistribute the Product or licence key to any third party.
  • Install the Product on websites you do not own or control (except where permitted for client use in agency-level licences if offered).
  • Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code beyond what is allowed by applicable law.
  • Use the Product in any manner that violates UK law or the rights of Plugin Nexus.

4. Updates & Support

  • Each licence includes updates and technical support for the duration specified at purchase.
  • Support is limited to the Product itself and does not include:
    • Customisation
    • Third-party conflicts
    • Server-specific issues
    • General WordPress troubleshooting
  • Support is only available to Customers with a valid, active licence.

5. Ownership and Intellectual Property

All Products remain the intellectual property of Plugin Nexus.
You are purchasing a licence to use, not ownership of, the Product.

You may modify the code for personal use, but you may not redistribute modified or unmodified versions without explicit written permission.

6. Responsibility & Risk

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • All software carries inherent risk.
  • You must test all Products in a staging or development environment before installing on a live website.
  • If no staging environment is available, you must perform a full backup so the site can be restored if necessary.

Plugin Nexus accepts no liability for any damages including (but not limited to) downtime, loss of income, data corruption, or incompatibilities resulting from installation or use of our Products.

Your use of the Product is entirely at your own risk.

7. Licence Term & Renewal

  • Licences are valid for the period specified at the time of purchase (e.g., annual, lifetime, etc.).
  • Expired licences lose access to updates and support but may continue to use the current installed version unless otherwise specified.
  • Auto-renewal may apply depending on your checkout selection.

8. Resale Rights (Future Offering)

Plugin Nexus may offer Reseller Rights or White-Label Rights in the future.

Unless you have explicitly purchased such a licence:

  • You may not resell, distribute, sublicense, or market the Product to third parties.
  • Standard licences (single, 3-site, unlimited-site) do not include resale or white-label rights.

A separate agreement will govern reseller or white-label arrangements if/when these rights are offered.

9. Termination

We may terminate this Agreement and invalidate your licence if:

  • You violate any terms herein.
  • You share or misuse licence keys.
  • You attempt to redistribute the Product without permission.

Upon termination, you must cease all use and delete all copies of the Product.

10. Modifications to the Agreement

We reserve the right to update or amend this Licensing Agreement at any time.
Continued use of our Products constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
