Throughout these terms, “Plugin Nexus”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to the owner/operator of Plugin Nexus. “You”, “your”, and “customer” refer to the person, business, or organisation using the website or purchasing our products.

2. Digital Products

Plugin Nexus products are supplied as digital downloads. These may include WordPress plugins, WordPress themes, software utilities, documentation, code files, templates, example data, update packages, and related digital materials.

No physical product is shipped.

After a successful purchase, your product will normally be made available through your Plugin Nexus account, order confirmation, download area, or licence email.

3. Software Licence

When you purchase a Plugin Nexus product, you are purchasing a licence to use the product under the terms shown on the product page and in these Terms and Conditions.

You are not purchasing ownership of the software, source code, brand, design, documentation, product name, logo, or intellectual property.

Unless stated otherwise on the product page, Plugin Nexus products are supplied under a commercial licence that allows you to install and use the product on the number of websites allowed by the licence tier you purchased.

3 Site Licence
Use on up to three websites.
Unlimited Site Licence
Use on unlimited websites owned or managed by you or your business, unless the product page states a different limit.

Your licence key is used to activate the product, receive permitted updates, validate access to support, and manage product usage.

4. Lifetime Licence, Lifetime Support, 12 Months Updates

Unless a product page states otherwise, Plugin Nexus products are supplied with: Lifetime licence, lifetime support, 12 months updates.

This means:

  • You may continue using the version of the product you purchased for as long as it remains compatible with your website environment.
  • You may contact Plugin Nexus for reasonable product support for the lifetime of the product.
  • You receive access to product updates for 12 months from the original purchase date.

After the update period ends, the product may continue to work, but you may need to renew or purchase an update extension to receive newer versions, compatibility updates, security updates, feature updates, or update downloads.

Plugin Nexus may change, improve, rename, replace, or retire products over time. Lifetime licence and lifetime support do not mean that every product will receive new features forever, support every future version of WordPress, support every third-party plugin, or remain compatible with every hosting environment indefinitely.

5. Licence Keys and Activation

Some Plugin Nexus products require a licence key for activation, automatic updates, download access, or support validation.

You are responsible for keeping your licence key secure. You must not publish, share, resell, distribute, or make your licence key publicly available.

We may suspend, disable, or restrict a licence key if we believe it is being misused, shared publicly, used outside the licence limits, used for fraudulent activity, or used in a way that breaches these terms.

If your licence key does not activate correctly, you should contact Plugin Nexus support with your order details.

6. Updates

Updates may include bug fixes, compatibility improvements, security improvements, minor enhancements, feature changes, or larger product changes.

Updates are provided at our discretion and may not always include every requested feature, third-party integration, design change, or compatibility request.

Before updating any plugin, theme, or software product, you are responsible for backing up your website, files, and database.

We strongly recommend testing updates on a staging website or development copy before installing them on a live production website.

Plugin Nexus is not responsible for problems caused by installing updates without backups, using outdated WordPress installations, using unsupported PHP versions, using conflicting plugins, custom code, modified files, hosting restrictions, malware, server misconfiguration, or third-party changes outside our control.

7. Support

Plugin Nexus support is intended to help customers install, activate, configure, and use Plugin Nexus products according to the supplied documentation and product purpose.

Support may include help with:

Installation issues, licence activation, basic setup, product settings, documented features, bug reports, compatibility questions, account/download access, and reasonable troubleshooting.

Support does not include:

Custom development, custom feature building, bespoke website design, fixing unrelated WordPress issues, repairing broken websites, server administration, malware removal, SEO services, third-party plugin support, third-party theme support, hosting support, custom code debugging, or modifying products beyond their intended use.

We will make reasonable efforts to help, but we cannot guarantee that every issue can be solved, especially where the issue is caused by third-party products, hosting limits, custom code, outdated software, or circumstances outside our control.

8. Product Compatibility

Plugin Nexus products are designed for compatible WordPress environments, unless a product page states otherwise.

You are responsible for checking that your website, hosting, PHP version, WordPress version, WooCommerce version, browser, server setup, and required extensions meet the product requirements.

Some products may require specific WordPress versions, WooCommerce, PHP extensions, API keys, cron jobs, file permissions, database access, or other technical requirements.

Plugin Nexus products may not work correctly on every possible combination of hosting provider, theme, page builder, caching plugin, security plugin, optimisation plugin, or third-party extension.

9. Demo Sites and Product Trials

Plugin Nexus may provide public demos, admin demos, screenshots, videos, documentation, or feature previews.

Demos are provided to help customers understand how a product works. Demo environments may be limited, restricted, reset, watermarked, protected, or different from a full production setup.

A demo does not guarantee that the product will work identically on every customer website, especially where the customer website uses different hosting, themes, plugins, custom code, security settings, caching, or server configuration.

10. Refund and Cancellation Policy

Because Plugin Nexus products are digital downloads, special rules apply to cancellation and refunds.

When you purchase a Plugin Nexus product, you are buying downloadable digital software, such as a WordPress plugin, WordPress theme, software tool, documentation, licence key, update package, or other digital content.

14-Day Cancellation Right Before Download or Access

If you are a consumer purchasing online in the UK, you may have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason.

For digital downloads, this cancellation right applies before the digital content has been downloaded, accessed, activated, or supplied to you.

Immediate Download and Loss of Cancellation Right

Most Plugin Nexus products are made available immediately after purchase.

Where you tick the checkout confirmation box requesting immediate access to your digital product, download file, licence key, account download area, or software access, you agree that Plugin Nexus may begin supplying the digital content straight away.

You also acknowledge that once the digital product has been downloaded, accessed, activated, or supplied to you, you lose your 14-day right to cancel for change-of-mind reasons.

This does not affect your legal rights if the digital content is faulty, not as described, or not supplied with reasonable care.

Faulty, Not as Described, or Non-Working Digital Products

If a Plugin Nexus product is faulty, not as described, or does not work for its basic advertised purpose, please contact us with your order details and a clear explanation of the issue.

We may ask for reasonable information to help investigate, such as your WordPress version, PHP version, WooCommerce version, error messages, screenshots, plugin conflict test results, hosting details, or steps to reproduce the issue.

Where appropriate, we will try to repair, replace, update, or otherwise resolve the issue.

If we cannot provide a reasonable solution, you may be entitled to a refund or price reduction in line with your legal rights.

Our Goodwill Refund Period

In addition to your statutory rights, Plugin Nexus may consider goodwill refund requests within 14 days of purchase where there is a genuine technical issue that we are unable to resolve.

A refund may be considered where:

  • The product cannot be installed, activated, or used for its basic advertised purpose.
  • The issue is reported within 14 days of purchase.
  • You provide enough information for us to investigate the problem.
  • You allow us a reasonable opportunity to help.
  • We are unable to provide a reasonable fix, workaround, replacement, or explanation.

When Refunds May Be Refused

Refunds may be refused where:

  • The product has already been downloaded, accessed, activated, or supplied and you simply changed your mind.
  • You bought the wrong product but downloaded or accessed it before contacting us.
  • The product works as described on the product page.
  • You expected features that were not advertised.
  • The issue is caused by your hosting, server settings, outdated WordPress installation, outdated PHP version, third-party plugins, third-party themes, custom code, caching, security software, user error, or website configuration.
  • You refuse reasonable troubleshooting steps.
  • Your licence key has been shared, misused, resold, published, or used outside the licence limits.
  • The purchase was made fraudulently or through unauthorised payment details.
  • The purchase relates to a renewal, upgrade, discounted offer, custom service, or item clearly marked as non-refundable, unless your statutory rights require otherwise.

Effect of Refund

If a refund is issued, your licence key may be cancelled, download access may be removed, update access may end, support access may end, and you must stop using the paid version of the product.

Refunds will normally be made back to the original payment method.

Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy limits or removes any legal rights you may have under UK consumer law.

If there is a conflict between this policy and rights that cannot legally be excluded, your statutory rights will apply.

11. Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Choosing the correct product before purchase.
  • Checking product requirements.
  • Keeping your website backed up.
  • Testing changes before using them on a live site.
  • Keeping WordPress, themes, plugins, PHP, and hosting software updated.
  • Using strong passwords and secure admin practices.

  • Ensuring your use of our products complies with laws and regulations that apply to you.

You are also responsible for any content, data, images, files, emails, messages, products, customer data, AI prompts, support tickets, or business information you create, process, store, import, export, or manage using Plugin Nexus products.

12. Downloaded Software Disclaimer

All software should be treated with care before installation.

Before installing or running any downloaded software, you should scan files with suitable antivirus/security software, keep backups, and test in a safe environment where possible, such as a staging website, local development site, or virtual machine.

Subject to your statutory rights, you install and use downloaded software at your own risk.

Plugin Nexus takes reasonable care when creating and packaging its products, but we cannot guarantee that software will be completely free from bugs, conflicts, interruptions, compatibility problems, security issues, or errors in every environment.

13. AI Features and Third-Party Services

You are responsible for setting up, funding, configuring, and complying with the terms of any third-party service you connect to a Plugin Nexus product.

You must not copy, resell, redistribute, rebrand, sublicense, publish, upload, share, or make Plugin Nexus products available to others except as allowed by the product licence or applicable law.

You must not remove copyright notices, licence checks, update systems, attribution, security features, or ownership notices from our products unless we have given written permission.

Plugin Nexus is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to WordPress, WooCommerce, Automattic, or any third-party company unless clearly stated.

16. Account Access

You are responsible for keeping your account details secure and accurate.

We may suspend or restrict account access if we believe an account is being misused, used fraudulently, used to breach these terms, or used in a way that may harm Plugin Nexus, customers, products, systems, or services.

17. Payments, Pricing and Taxes

Prices are shown on the website at the time of purchase.

We may change prices, offers, discounts, licence tiers, product bundles, or renewal terms at any time. Price changes do not normally affect completed purchases unless stated otherwise.

You are responsible for paying any applicable taxes, payment provider fees, currency conversion charges, or bank charges connected to your purchase.

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. Plugin Nexus does not control all payment provider decisions, fraud checks, card declines, chargeback processes, or payment account restrictions.

18. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you open a chargeback, payment dispute, or reversal without contacting us, we may suspend your licence key, download access, support access, and account access while the dispute is investigated.

Fraudulent purchases, stolen payment details, abusive disputes, or misuse of refund systems may result in licence cancellation and account restriction.

19. Security and Responsible Disclosure

If you believe you have found a security issue in a Plugin Nexus product, please contact us privately and provide enough detail for us to investigate.

You must not publicly disclose, exploit, sell, misuse, or share security vulnerabilities before we have had a reasonable opportunity to review and address the issue.

20. Prohibited Use

You must not use Plugin Nexus products or services to:

21. Limitation of Liability

Our total liability for any claim connected to a product will not exceed the amount you paid to Plugin Nexus for that product.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

22. No Guarantee of Results

Continuing to use the website, products, downloads, licence keys, or support services after changes are published means you accept the updated terms.

24. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to products, updates, support, accounts, downloads, or licence keys if you breach these terms, misuse a product, abuse support, share licence keys, attempt fraud, issue abusive chargebacks, or use our services in a harmful or unlawful way.

Termination does not remove any payment obligations already incurred.

25. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your location require otherwise.

Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales, unless applicable law requires a different process.
